Applying Swiss triplets to Jazz Drum Set

The most natural genre for Swiss triplets on the drum set is jazz because Swiss triplets are triplet based. For jazz, apply a lighter jazzy touch than for blues.  This page offers a few ideas to get you started.

Swiss Triplet-based HH Groove Variation

Use as a fill during a hi-hat rhythmic groove with one stick on top and one on the bottom of the HH.

Swiss Triplet-based Cymbal/Snare Fills

Right hand on ride or HH, left hand on snare.

Swiss Triplet-based Drum Fills

Use as a fill moving the right hand around the toms.
